Foodstuffs (2017)

A collection of vector works created in Fireworks specifically for sharing on Instagram.
With this series I purposely set out to explore what was possible with Adobe's now unsupported but still awesome application, Fireworks.
It's a challenging but fun and rewarding exercise to be able to push the boundaries of the application and my own skills to come up with some interesting and eye-catching concepts.
I still marvel at Adobe's decision to pull FW from its line-up, since this application filled an obvious gap between both Illustrator and Photoshop in such an elegant way that perhaps that's why they chose to discontinue supporting it.
The fact that it still boasts a staunch and committed userbase is testament to the usefulness and power of this application. A massively wasted opportunity on Adobe's part.
